The Sharon Alexander Scholarship honors the life and legacy of long-time Troy School District teacher, Ms. Sharon Alexander. The Troy Foundation for Educational Excellence may award the Scholarship to to four or more students of the Troy School District’s 2026 graduating class. Proceeds of the Scholarship must be used in connection with post- secondary education studies.
The 2026 Scholarship amount is $2,000 per student. As used in this Application, “Fine Arts and Communications” means, but is not limited to, the disciplines of drama, theater, speech, communications, forensics, radio and television production, art, and music (e.g., band, orchestra, choir, etc.)
Complete Applications must be received no later than Friday, April 3rd at 11:59 pm (“Deadline”). No Applications will be accepted after the Deadline. Incomplete Applications will not be considered.
