Change the World Grants
Project Stella - Boulan Park MS - $1,395

8th grade students in the WEB class at Boulan Park will work together to create a nature space in the wooded area next to Boulan Park that will ultimately help to combat light polution.
Path of Plastic - Wass Elementary - $1,000

4th grade students have been studying the environmental impact of plastic. 5th grade students will develop a logo to put on reusuable shopping bags. The 4th graders will then develop a campaign to distribute the bags and inform community members as to their importance.
Crafting with Seniors at Oakmont Senior Living - Hill Elementary - $200

Hill students have been traveling to Oakmont Senior Living to visit with the folks there. This grant purchases supplies for an activity for the kids to do with the seniors.
Little Free Library - Hamilton Elementary - $840

Second and fouth grade students will work together to install a Little Free Library at the school.
Books on Wheels - Costello Elementary - $1,875
Michelle Tessoff
Third graders will be evaluating and choosing books and then using a book cart, they will take the books around the school to encourage others to read the books they've chosen.
Sensory Room - Athens High School - $3,500

The art students will work to design and create a sensory room in a conference room connected to the counciling office where all students can visit to calm themselves.
